Default Cd changer spoof?

I have the factory radio WITH navigation and as far as I know this is supposed to have the ability to connect to a CD changer. I have found a pin diagram which outlines which are the audio inputs for the CD changer, but unfortunately unless I have a real CD changer connected it seems as if the radio does not want to go into cd changer mode. And thus not picking up the audio signals from those inputs.

Question now: Does anybody how to spoof the radio into believing there is a CD changer connected?

If you do some searching I think you will find a company that makes a devices that emulates a CD changer so that you can get inputs.

This is probably not the answer you want but after looking over all those ways to fool the factory system, I just pulled it and put in an aftermarket unit that takes all kinds of inputs (XM, Sirius, Bluetooth, RCA, iPod, CD Changer etc.) for about what the emulator cost. It was the best choice for me, but then I didn't have the Nav system built in.
