Anyone have opinions and pics to share? See more info here on the St. Louis, but I like the color screen in the Memphis better. Other than the screen differences, are the HUs pretty much identical? Is the Memphis pretty much straight plug and play like the St. Louis? No adapter needed?

Button colors are fixed in the Memphis, right? Red? The ability to change the screen color is the only thing that attracts me to the St. Louis, as I'm kind of a nut for keeping a factory look inside. But it seems like you can't change the button color with the St. Louis anyways, just the screen, so this doesn't seem like a big deal. Just use some custom greenish wallpaper on the Memphis to take care of that...

Haven't even picked up the 05 Graphite Roadster Limited I bought last week yet (I'm around Ottawa, ON, and dealing with three feet of snow on the ground, so no rush, I supposed) and I'm already planning the HU swap... Can't live without my iPod.

 

I've been looking for a Blaupunkt St. Louis MP56 but can't find a Canadian dealer. If you have any info on availability in Canada would you please post on here. Failing that does anyone recommend a supplier in the US? thanks

 

Hi Paul. Sorry I can't be of any help. I have a US address so I buy from eBay and just have items shipped there from US sellers.

i am also considering this receiver, it does appear the screen is the only difference between the mp56 and 66

 

That's how it looks to me, too. Just hoping somebody here might have a pic they would share of the Memphis in action. St. Louis looks good, though, from the posted pics, so imagine there isn't much difference.
