Default Stereo Bluetooth

So I upgraded to iPhone 3.0 today and the thing I was most interested in was how stereo Bluetooth would work in the car. It's definitely nicer than the FM transmitters, but not even close to wired sound quality. I guess I'd say that it's listenable, at least, which is more than I'd say about either of the two FM transmitter dealies that I tried before replacing the head unit with one that has a USB connection for the iPhone. I think perhaps for a short ride to the corner store... it may get used now and then.

Spend a couple hundred bucks and get a new receiver. There are many out there now that fit our cars with bluetooth. My Alpine has that option if I want to add it. The stereo- I-Pod hook up is flawless and sounds so much better.

Yeah, mine does both. The USB to iPod connection is crystal clear and sparkly. The old FM transmitters I had before I upgraded sucked. The stereo blutooth connection is somewhere in between. Listenable, but not fantastic. I also have an aux in for 3.5 plug... which is okay, but in the case of the iPod, the USB connection is better.
