help I'm an Idiot!
Not sure this is the right place for this but here goes. Will in Iraq I ordered a bunch of parts for my car, one of them being the sprint booster. I recently got it...finally, and like a kid with a new toy I wanted to play with it before I looked up what I needed to do to put it in. So now my Speedometer, and Odometer do not work, my ABS/ESP, Brake, Brake pad, and check engine lights are all on now. any one know what if any thing I can do instead of going to a shop?
Please help!
Please help!
not sure where you have tried to install it...it's just a plug and go...try uninstalling it first if you haven't already...and reinstall it again...maybe you managed to turn the plug around, which I don't think you can do...but the uninstall should put you back to where you were. You did install it on the foot peddle right?

no need to remove the dash for a sprintbooster install, just the foot peddle...must have unplugged something under there...any ideas tighed1, I haven't been under the dash for any reason...
well, I want see what you have unplugged, look around under there...then just remove the foot peddle...the nut can be troublesome, but you can do it...it plugs in line...there are how-to's in the search feature.....maybe tighed! will have an idea or any others tuning in...but no need to be in the dash area
you may accidentally unplugged something when you pulled the panel back, or the panel itself is part of the grounding...either way, look around for something disconnected...if nothing found, put it back the way it was, and unplug positive terminal on the battery to reset the computer...for a few minutes...see if this works...something had to have been unhooked for this to happen...
Guessing that the reset didn't work.
I'd start with checking all of the fuses (under the hood, two separate boxes). You might have shorted something out while you were just "pooking" around.
Did ya disconnect anything?
Does the car start?

something has to be unplugged...you'll have to open her up again and start poking around again, this time looking for something not connected....the only thing I know to do at this point...
ok, and nothing is working...well, you have to have the codes checked to see if they are real, and cleared if they are not.....not sure if this is something an auto zone could help you with as far as checking the codes, and clearing them...won't hurt to ask, if not, then an MB dealer in your area...doubt if you hurt anything, but something is throwing those codes, and something has to be disconnected for speedo, odo not to work...without looking in there, I don't know what else to tell you at this point...
