While I apologize that these haven't gone out yet, please remember I'm a one man show. I've had to work through some things and while I've pretty much gotten then straightened out, these things don't happen overnight. I know everyone is very anxious to get their units and they will be going out shortly. This is not a song and dance and as anyone that one of my products will attest, they are worth the wait. I'm sorry I don't give deadlines on delivery as all they have done in the past is come back and bite me. I tried to set a proper expectation to the time it would take to get these out to everyone but things outside of my control have pushed this back. I will send everyone an email with tracking information when they ship and I'm hoping to get these out this week but again, I cannot guarantee this while guaranteeing that this product will perform flawlessly. I'd rather test every function of this and ensure it all works perfectly than ship them out right now and have everyone have to send their units back due to an unforeseen problem.

Thank you

Thanks for the update! It was not my intention to cast a negative impression. Looking forward to the final product.

You are all more than welcome to contact me at any time by calling me at 952-292-4477 if you have any questions or concerns with installation. This is my cell phone and I have it with me all the time.

As far as removal of the radio, it is very simple. You will need a set of radio removal tools that you can purchase from Best Buy, Walmart, Checker, Autozone etc. You need to purchase the ones that look like the following image.

These radio removal tools simply slide into the two small slits in the bottom corners of the radio. You will feel them latch and then you pull on them to remove the radio. To remove the tools, you will see two tabs that hold the radio in place. Push them in a little bit and the radio removal tools will come right out.

You do not need to disconnect your radio to install the iControl Adapter. You will see an open slot in the same connector the rest of the wires that are connected to the radio plug into. This is where the iControl Adapter plugs into. Don't worry, the plug is keyed so you cannot insert it upside down. After it is conneced, connect the other end of the cable to the iControl . Next, route the iPod cable under the trim on the side of the center console. You can run this to the glove box or just have it come out the side next to the map pocket net. After you have it routed, plug in the iPod cable to the iControl adapter. After you connect everything, put the icontrol adapter behind the radio and slide the radio back in. To operate the iControl, press the CD button twice to switch to CDC mode. You will see on the bottom of the screen the following icons:
< Rewind
> Fast Forward
<< Previous Song
>> Next Song

Use these to change the song as the right **** now controls which "CD" (playlist) you are playing. You can setup 6 playlists (The new ones will let you do 10 but our radios don't always like seeing 10 discs since it was never designed to use the 10-Disc changer and this was the reason for the delay in getting them out the door so your mileage may vary when using it. CD6 lets you control the iPod directly and the radio buttons won't do anything. The other ones will let you control everything right from the radio. Please note, On the iPod, playlist MUST be labled CD1, CD2, CD3 and so on. CD-1 will NOT work, neither will "CD1" or "CD-1" or any other variation. For the USB port, you can make 6 folders on the USB flash drive again named CD1, CD2, CD3 and so on. The playlist order will be determined by the order you put the songs onto the drive. Changing the name will not change the order of how they are played as it gets the order from the file system and the file system is written as the songs are added. Again, you are limited to 99 songs per folder.

Hope this helps and if any of you have questions or need help with this install, please do not hesitate to call me.

Damn this thing ROCKS!!

Now for the question before I break something......how do you get the install tools back out of the radio?

Do I just yank them out...or is there a trick with them....also do I put the head unit in the dash then yank them out or take them out and then shove it back in the dash.....I pulled on them a lil and damn if they don't seem to be in there real good.

Otherwise this is worth its weight in gold to me!
Talk about plug and play!

Great item a must have for everyone!!!!!!!!!

Wait to the wife drives the car again!
She is just gonna love this!!

Kirk.....oh and I did find the tools at Walmart for 4.50 plus tax of course.

Push in on the little tabs on the sides right next to where you pushed the removal tools into. Some radios have them anodized blue while others are plain jane unfinished metal. Call me if you need any help. 952-292-4477.

Take care and happy to hear you're enjoying it.

I know it's probably been covered here...just wondering if anyone has found a solution for the non-Nav, Infinity unit. Sure would like to keep the factory unit and hook up my iPod without a FM unit.

Thanks.

Geez, I hope this works. Always trouble with images.

Rudy, thanks. Great product. Here's my install. Took 15 minutes. Works with Sirius and Blackberry (for Pandora and MP# files) on aux. Still trying to figure out a way to make it a speaker phone in the car. It may look a little rough, but I chose function over form, and the install can be undone without any remaining effects. On a trip to L.A. next week my daughter will probably bless you for the i-pod function (while I will likely curse you). 0

You can turn it into a speaker phone by finding a mic adapter. Let me know what kind of phone you have and I'll see if I can line something up. As for the laptop you were looking for, no luck in the channel but that's not to say it's not hiding in some other vendors warehouse so I'll keep checking for ya. Glad you like the iController and when you're on your trip with your daughter, just make sure you have the sirius running because the aux-in has priority over the iPod connector and you can tell her it's broken... Sorry no Britney Spears for you. LOL

Rudy: I finally got some time to get the module installed; it kicks a__!!! I'm using zune and the zune patch cordfor connecting to laptop will work in flash drive outlet to charge zune-but no play--but the headphone line works great so I have pretty much the same functionality as ipod. Thanks! Worth the wait. Time for an evening cruise with good tunes!
