Fom one Howard to another .... As far as I can find by reading thru the manuals, the only adjustment that can done to the LCD display, is to set it at always positive, always negative, or Automatic. Maybe there is someone else that has accomplished this by other means and will chime in .... cheers Howard

Thanks for the input re the sunglasses. I recognize there will be issues viewing with sunglasses, but my real issue is it's hard to see even without them. It used to be pretty visible during daylight (especially without the glasses) but now it's very difficult. I expect I did something inadvertently when programing the unit but I haven't been able to make the screen brighter, even though the manual says you can in the OPT function. If anyone has had similar issues and knows how to resolve this, I'd appreciate the info.

Thanks Howard. I'll revisit the manual and see what affect this may have.

Regards

Do you have Navigation? Tweaking the radio is in more detail in the "navigation manual"

Nope, no nav in my vehicle -- just the factory AM/FM/CD.

Thanks for trying.

No ,I open the directions and read when i,m all done and there are several pieces left over, then you use the directions in reverse to disassemble.

That's the way a real man does things. If we were meant to ask for directions men would have been born without an ego and no pride.
I've never been lost, I was taking the scenic route.
