Default Additional speakers

Hey all... I blew my driver-side 6inch today... I was wondering if anyone had added additional speakers? I plan on getting a new radio, an amp, and one 10" sub for the "trunk." I don't know of any speaker boxes like the sub boxes (ive never added aftermarket speakers if you cant tell) and on top of that is it worth it to get 2 more speakers, or just get "descent" aftermarket speakers for all of the stock ones (like i planned).

My issue is the radio only goes to 40 (or 45, idk im tired) and when i have the windows down i have to have at least 30 volume to hear anything, 35 to hear the music and not just lyrics and 40 to hear it pumping.

-- speaking of the "trunk" does anyone know of any cargo thing to separate the areas so if i have papers or clothes etc etc they dont do that levitate thing and try to fly out? I checked with my local chrysler dealer and they said it was discontinued.

thanks tremendously for anyones help!!!

I added two 6x9 Infinity Reference 9632cf speakers to the back, they sit in their own individual boxes (as well as two 10" subs, amp, capacitor) and they sound great! Extremely clear and loud when I need them to be. I upgraded my head unit as well (Sony Xplod GT530ui). I think as far as the volume issue you're having goes... time to upgrade to a new head unit. (Maybe something with an ipod/usb option).

Here's a pic, more in my gallery:

Oh and P.S. I have a base coupe... no premium sound. So I only had the two 6 1/2" 's in the doors + the two tweeters. Now I have six speakers. (Tweeters and front speakers are wired together I believe)

I have a base as well and have changed out my system. I was disapointed with the factory installed stereo in mine. I went with a pioneer head unit becouse of the color. I changed the door speakers with Memphis (spelled wrong I think) and added 6" mids in the openings behind the seats. I then had two 10" subs mounted in the back in such a way that I did not loose my storage space. I don't know what brand amp I have but I chose it becouse the metal emblem looks just like the chrysler emblem. I am very happy. the quality is so much better due to the fact that the six speakers up front are a better quality than factory IMO. Even if I had not added the amp and subs I improved the sound greatly over factory.
