I wrote a review on the KIV-BT900 a few months back. I bought a refurbished one online that came with a warranty for half the price of a new one.
I still have it and love it.

I have installed the Kenwood KDC-BT945U and it looks very good and sounds great. I hooked it up using the HU pre-amp outputs direct to the factory amp - this gives a very clean sound. I have not hooked up the BT so can offer no opinion on that.
Installation was very easy and I ran the ipod and aux wires from the back of the HU directly under the plastic piece on the center portion of the passenger compartment (just above the net holder) No need to remove the plastic just gently lift the plastic push in on the carpet and pull wires through (did cut a small piece of black tubing to slip ove the ipod and aux wires to protect them from the "sharp plastic edge). The ipod stays tucked in the net out of sight and out of the way. Full ipod controls on the HU. Can also use a thumbdrive loaded with songs which can also be controled by the HU using free Kenwood software. Or hook up any mps player to the aux wire - but no HU control.
You will need a wire harness and antenna adaptor. Check ebay for great prices.

I just bought the Kenwood KIV-BT901. Have not received it yet, but prob. tomorrow. I think I'm going to run the hook up from the pre-outs. If anyone has any additional suggestions on this HU, please share. Looking forward to the Bluetooth and iphone/ipod control.
