Some weeks ago I noticed a strange thing, sometimes after I turned off the engine and locked the car from the outside, fogs, markers and tail lights start to blink. It happens in 2-3 mins after I locked the car. For me it seems like a problem with alarm, I can't find anything about it both in manual and web.

After you lock the vehicle, the markers should blink and the fogs should stay on for about 30 seconds if I'm not mistaking. My Crossfire does that. I don't pay it much attention any more , but that is normal. 2-3 min seems like a long time though.

 

Cars sold in the USA:
The yellow turn signals on the front and rear blink when you lock or unlock the car.

If you have been driving with the lights on, and you shut the car and lights off, the fog lights come on for, oh, 1/2 to `1 minute.

I am not sure what, if ANYTHING, changes with a car sold elsewhere.

NOW,
If the fogs are blinking during this time, I would suspect bad connections as some switch or fuse or bad solder on a relay somewhere. Do the fogs blink or flicker during normal operation?

 

30-second "follow me home" light works well, no problem with it. Blinking begins after "follow me home" turns off, in 1-3 mins after.
During normal operation everything is ok.
So I seriously doubt that this is a problem with bad connections.
