I just put in a new deck and i was wondering what to do with the rear speaker output wires. I am putting in some new speakers also and was wondering what would happen if I combined both the front and rear outputs and put them to the single door speaker.

My question is will there be any difference? Im not to knowledgeable when it comes to stereos. So would the power increase or would there be no difference since it is still only driving one speaker.

Edit:
After some more research I dont think there would be any difference. The output of the deck will just be split to two speakers instead of being split to four. So even if both front and rear were attached to the doors it would be the same amount of power.
Am I correct in this or am i still missing the nail and hitting my thumb?
