Once the antenna adapters arrive, I have plans to soon install the Alpine DPR-RDS1 in-line FM modulator. Although this type of input is not ideal, I can't bring myself to replace the head unit so it will be better than my current FM transmitter. The Alpine unit has a cord that comes out (I'll route it to the console) and plugs directly into the iPod which charges and transmits the music.

I would like, however, to install a surface-mount USB in the console rather than having the cord pop through the carpet. I have searched and searched but cannot find a cord that, for instance, has an iPod dock female into USB. The port this cord plugs into on the actual device is unique--not sure if I've seen one before, so I'm not sure about other cord options. I need solutions! Thanks!
