Default Drivers side elec window issue!? Help!

Hi everyone, I have an 04' Coupe which has a temperamental drivers side elec window. It always opens on command when it is closed but then decides not to go up or down further when open? I have found out through messing around that if you open and close the passenger side elec window by 10mm increments, finally the drivers side elec window will kick back to life when pressing the drivers side elec window button! The passenger side window has no faults? Please help! Thank you in advance for any comments!

Could you lift the console trim and use the passenger side switch in place of the driver side switch to check to see if the problem lies in the switch? That would be a cheap fix if the switch was found to be the trouble.

At your age you need them to be slow and easy to catch as well.

Thank you, good suggestion! I will try this and see if the switch is the cause!
