Default Stereo Help

Hello all, Ive installed stereos before but the crossfire has me baffled, I recently bought the jensen UV10 and had it all wired up and had all the color going to the corresponding colors. Heres the thing everything worked the unit lit up, the 7 inch touch screen went up and down but absolutely no music was played. everything worked but no music. ive seen alot about wiring to the factory amp but was curious if someone could verify a little more.

ps ive already looked at the sticky for ""installing the aftermarket radio"" but still seems like im unable to figure it out.

any help is appreciated!!!!

Some radios you need to set the aux wire.
Usually blue or blue with a stipe for a power ant air external amp.
I had this problem with a pioneer avic z1
You had to go into the menus an set it to turn on all the time.
This might help. Without being there with a meeter it is difficult to say

Isn't there a red to yellow swap in there?

Red to yellow swap will only affect the internal memory - battery vs accessory power. Most likely you don't have a power wire (blue wire stryfox mentioned) hooked up for the amp.

Just thought I'd save him another WTF when it didn't store his settings.. since he noted wired up "color to color"

Gotcha... Interestingly, I've seen this mentioned several places, but didn't have that issue with mine.
