Default SiriusXM radio installation

Hey fellas!

I got a SiriusXM receiver package for Christmas. Now the big question is how to install it. Is it hard or can I do it myself? I have some experience with wiring speakers etc. so it would be cool to receive some tips. Otherwise I might just take it to a shop and have it installed professionally but I love saving some money lol!

Thanks for any input,

Nick

Really depends on what you got. Do you have an aftermarket radio? There are a few threads floating around. Maybe do a little search, then come back and tell us more about what you have? Either way, it shouldn't be anything difficult. I've yet to put one in my Crossfire, but installed them in several vehicles...

I got a Sony GT55UIW aftermarket stereo! I'll read into a little but since you did it before I'm always happy for any help with putting the receiver in and where to place the antenna where the cord is not visible etc.

Guess what's in my Miata.. LOL. Probably would have gotten another if it wasn't for the desire for blue tooth in the Xfire..
