I was using an old sprint LG with no service and not connected to wifi.. I did miss out on being able to tweet my data.. LOL. and it does allow you to upload to the Torque site for data charting I do believe.

Outside of that everything worked fine as far as monitoring the car.

The Wifi will upload all your data to the server which then maps out all the points on a nice graph and syncs with google maps.

Anyone know if there is a software option for Blackberry (my guess is a big NO). My work only provides apple devices (which I refuse to own/use) or the BB. I have an Android tablet and Windows 8 tablet, but these are bit bulky to use in the car.

I'm not sure about BB, there's some for apple. I have a Transformer prime tablet with the keyboard dock and I just set that in the passenger seat. Since it logs everything you can pull it up on your computer at home and view it. So you can hide the tablet under your seat or if it's small enough put it in your glove box. Just a few ideas.

Evan BB can use the Android apps with the sideload option or even some other ways as described 2.3.3 packager will allow Android apps to run on a BB.
Sideload Android apps to your BlackBerry 10 device using Google Chrome | CrackBerry.com

Anyone using the TorqueScan plugin? How long does it take to read all of the PIDs off of the CAN?

I say it takes about a minute or so. I haven't really tracked it too much.

Some gentleman on the Torque forum said it could take 3 hours...I will have to experiment! Should the car be running or not?

I would do it while driving.. or hook up a battery charger... Seems like mine would take between 5-10 minutes off the top of my head.. or I gave up after that.. LOL.

I know its been asked before in the thread, but has anyone had any luck yet with getting AFR working in torque, its probably the only sensor i want to work so i can datalog it with engine RPM. I havent spent much time figuring out the app, but its such a obious sensor parameter, it should be in there somewhere

There is a new update that was just pushed I believe there is a dial you can set that will convert the 02 sensor voltage to AFR.

New version still doesn't "default" to a readable PID on our cars.. but the new one does indicate open or closed loop.. guess it's getting closer.. LOL

Hey guys just saw something kinda fun. If you wanted all electric gauges cheap just get a few of these and run them with Torque Pro. There is an add on that will work with these smart watches.
