Wiring question.
I'm sure I've seen this somewhere before but my search skills are failing me. Is there a trick to fishing a wire from behind the head unit down to the amp location, or do I have to remove the glove box and surround?
I started poking around with a coat hanger last time I was in there, but it was cold and I wasn't having any luck so I decided to wait til spring. Hopefully I'll have better luck this time!
On the hard plastic console tape the wire on the end of a pen then pish it from the bottom of the hard plastic console directly beneath the back of the radio with the wire taped on a pen you should reach it OK then you can use the one pishing it up along the bottom edge of the console forward up to the fire wall then you can run the wire under the carpet from there. Keep it hidden and you do not have to remove the glove box. That is the route I ran my mic for my head unit last week. I posted my route in my thread last week for my Kenwood marine radio. Looks like it was made for the car.
