For those true audiophiles there is also the Denon DCT-A1 deck. This deck is a dead head(meaning you have to use amps to get sound). With a 24 bit processor this is probably the best pure sounding silver faced option;I've used many head units over the years and this one rates close to the top and it goes with our dashes and dash lights nicely.
I like this old Denon preamp headunit. Introduced in 1999. To get the most performance out of this unit, you must use a multi-channel amplifier with preamp input capability.
The DCT-A1 features an AUX button for any audio device you may want to add and has a set of RCA-f AUX-input in the back for a device such as a Bluetooth receiver. I recommend pairing this unit with the Exile EBT-4 Bluetooth receiver with 4.0 Bluetooth technology. (Same BT receiver in my Crossfire now)
With proper setup, this combo would sound excellent in any Crossfire.
Magnatude.....thanks for clarifying that.I figured Padgett was asking if it was bluetooth compatible out of the box without having to purchase anything else.
I'm a former world champion and record holder in car audio and this unit got me the New York State championship for sound quality in my class.I've since moved up to an Eclipse headunit since it has 8 volt preouts for my spl system.
