Question Relay Control Modules part numbers

Gentlemen - I've noticed that some used RCM's are numbered A 170 545 00 05 and embossed is Germany on the case. I've seen others numbered A 170 545 01 05 and embossed is Hungary. Note the 00 05 and the 01 05 and the two different countries. Is there a difference in the operation of the two parts? Are they interchangeable? My car is a 2005 Limited Coupe with the NA engine and auto trans. I want to get a spare RCM that is correct for my car. Any thoughts on the two different part numbers and their application?

Jim

The part numbers you listed are for the pulse module NOT the rcm. You need to learn the difference between a pulse module and a rcm or what one actually looks like. The part number ala_xfire gave you is correct for the actual rcm.

Ronman - If you look up "Chrysler Crossfire relay control module" on ebay you will see what I'm talking about. They are all either 00 05 or 01 05. There are NO 03 05's on there. Shopping for a RCM to re-solder shows nothing like what you referenced.

Of course E-bay can't be wrong. Those numbers all appear to be RCMs

My bad, you are correct. My point was just because something comes up on an E-bay search does not make it so.
