I looked at the "Sticky's" and read what was posted. Seems the Sosche harness that the Red and Blue wires are reversed for aftermarket installation. That being said, does anyone have a Sosche color code, by color identification. The wires are multi-colored and the after-market adapters are solid colors. Like to know the function of each Sosche muti-colored wire. Thanks

Thank you for your quick response and is just what I needed. When the color says amo ground and "amp" turn-on I assuming that to me the ground and turn on are for the "radio" I'm installing. Correct? Lot of people do install an additional amplifier to drive big speakers.

No, they are for the amp ( located in the passenger foot well ). Here's the radio wiring in the car :
( the wire in pin 5 of the car side connector )

REALLY! I had no idea as I've only had my car a little over a month. The Mercedes radio volume control was not working properly so I bought a new radio with bluetooth.

If you have a base model or a SE ( Special Edition ) model, there is no amp and the above schematic does not apply.
If your seats are cloth, it's a base/SE

I think mine is a limited edition. Electric leather seats, electric windows and automatic trans. Does that make it a Special/Limited edition? I added a Bently style grill and tinted windows.
