Default 10" Single DIN Dash Unit - Boss BE10ACP

Just to give everyone a heads up -- the Boss BE10ACP fits pretty well in the Crossfire. It's a single DIN unit that features an absurdly large 10" Screen with wired android auto. The pre-amp outputs are also the right level to directly drive the Infinity amp. I also installed a dual USB port in my console to drive the android auto / carplay features.

It covers up the ventilation and other controls, but they are still completely accessible. The screen pans and tilts to give you plenty of access and the right viewing angle.

They were (still might be) a price mistake at AutoZone. You can't find it on the website, but they're available in the stores for $229 when it costs $329 everywhere else.

I recently installed a Boss BE7ACP-SD into my 2005 xfire. Got everything working including a wireless backup camera on the radio except for Android Auto.
I connecred the green wire as directed to the parking brake wire under the dash as instructed with no success. Either my connection is bad or i got the wrong wire.
I have read on other forums that it can be connecred to any ground wire.

What xfire wire did you use ?
I hate to tear the dash apart again if not necessary.
Thanks in advance.

I connected it to the nearest screw, any ground to the chassis is fine.

I know this is an older post but how do you both like the units? I really like the 8" but wondering if it is big enough. Also, never had a Boss system before. I know they are not top shelf, but wondered how they sound with the infinity amp?
I have a 2005 and have a dead stock unit. May even replace the amp.

I'm very happy with the size and performance of the unit.
It provides all the features I was looking for that the stock unit lacked.
