Default Best solution for new stereo w/back up cam screen

Hi everyone!

I have a backup cam installed and had the attached stereo (see image). It had a little display for the backup cam. Now the stereo stopped working...backup cam still works but no sound for whatever reason.
Is there any nice solution? I'd love a stereo in silver with green/yellow lights like our Crossfires come with.

Is it best to get a stereo w/backup camera screen or should I get a separate screen for the backup cam? What solutions have you guys found?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Only thing I have, ask PizzaGuy if there is a software 'reset' within the radio. He used to work for JVC I believe. Good luck!

Guys, this is an awfully old thread. I don't see how he has the camera interfaced to the radio, as I see no display.
But other than that, the first thing I'd ask is "Does the radio display LOOK like it powers up and works?" If so, I'd suspect the amp.
If not, I'd look at power to the radio or suspect a failure in the radio.

As to resets, I'd have to go try to research what provisions for resets that one has. My current JVC head is only "reset" by removing all switched and battery power and then removing the removable head and taking the CMOS battery out for a few seconds. But not sure on that model.

The little "squares" in the image are touch screen and THAT is the screen. The radio worked, but no picture would come on. I have long since switched it out for a BOSS system - single Din with a touch screen

Love it, quality is great, Android/Apple Play, great picture quality and looks modern. You can adjust the lights to match the Crossfire light and it dims automatically. I bought it at BestBuy and had them install it for free. They did a great job, watched them do it, they ran a microphone up the A-pillar for hands free talking and speech to text. Very recommended. They come with larger screens as well but this one was the perfect compromise so as to not cover up any A/C or other buttons. I have been to Crossfire meets where people had a larger screen and they were able to move the screen so as to access the buttons as the screen can be tilted.
