Default Central locking pump

I have a 2006 roadster and am having an issue with my CLP. When the large electrical connector is plugged into the pump my hazards turn on. Cannot turn off with hazard switch. I have to unplug the connector to the pump. The convertible will not go down and the door will not lock. Power top switch flashes. When I turn the handle for the top, the windows do go down but that's all that happens. Pump has no water damage and I do not believe there are any fuse issues. Please help. I would like my top to work and my doors to lock. Thanks inadvance

How long have you owned it and what led you to the central locking pump?

Hello, I have owned the car for about 2 years. The pump was not working when I bought the car and replaced the pump. When I replaced it I started having the hazard light issue and pump really doesn't do anything. No fuse issues.

The reason I asked is because if the old pump got wet, the connectors can also be damaged. There is also no wat to know if the replacement pump was good.
