I was looking at the audio diagram and saw the amp has outputs for rear speakers, anyone tried these outputs? Haven't paid much attention to the behind the seats, but does the back wall have a spot to mount any speakers under the carpet?

 

I think you are looking at the wiring for the two subs that are already behind the seat.

 

Makes sense now looking at the entire diagram, I don't see a separate run from subs, must be it. Thanks

 

I have a base coupe and am in the process of changing the front speakers and will add rear speakers to my setup as well. I am going to bypass the stock system wiring completely. I built a sub box for the trunk, but am redoing that as well. I am strongly considering getting rid of everything in the trunk well and putting the sub in there. I will put the amps under the seats and mount the speakers in the rear wall. More to follow as everyone likes a DIY. I retire from the military in two weeks, and have some done time before my new job starts.

Does anyone know the size of the rear subs? I have heard some JL 8s before that sounded very clean.
