Weird!..my stock radio didn't work for one day!
So I get off of work last night and get into my car and turn on the radio...NOTHING
The back face was lit up and it said "Chrysler" but no nothing (pardon the double negative) I pushed every button and it just read "Chrysler". I thought to myself "well, here's another thing to add to the list along with the fan relay recall!". So on a whim I go out there this morning to see if the radio works and guess what...IT DID.
I took it to get gas and pick up my sick daughter from school and it worked fine. So my question is this, what the hell happened?

These radios are full of gremlins. I think there have been posts about similar experiences on here before. I've had mine freeze when I put a CD in before. It wouldn't do anything until I turned the car off. For about a week the radio would switch back and forth between presets 8 & 9 every 30 seconds or so. Everything else on the radio worked fine. Since then I haven't had any other issues. I'm sure the dealer would say they can't do anything since they can't duplicate the problem.

I have had the same issue with the radio as Aero Blue. Happened a couple times during the first month I had the car. Dealer checked it out, and of course the could not duplicate it. It has happened again a couple times since. (I bought my roadster 4-30-05.) Each time restarting the car solved the issue.
Best thing to do, if it is possible, is to drive to the dealership when the radio is malfunctioning. Thing is, usually that isn't possible.
Hopefully my car is coming out of winter storage 4-1 (weather permitting). I plan to take it right in (again, if possible), especially since I now know the cost to replace is $2,500.
