Hi - your post on the door opener spurred me into programming my other garage door into the opening in my car - page 50 of the manual has the instructions - it was a piece of cake...
Have you got yours programmed now? Seriously it cant be any easier...just push the button on the remote control and the one you want programmed on the Crossfire at the same time until the flasing on the Crossfire remote area flashes fast (it will flash slowly while learning) - then stop because it's all done!
Sorry - I'd love to discover a Crossfire being parted out - but nothing spotted so far
I just put the Rotex Gold brake pads on mine this week - they are good so far very little brake dust accumulating on the wheels. That and some K&N air filters are my non standard improvements so far.
Thats bad news to hear someone didn't give their Crossfire the TLC it deserves. What model do you have?
Maybe we should explore a Crossfires Across Australia like the guys are doing in the US later this year with the Crossfires Across America?

That's a shame - as I say mine was a breeze - for both doors

Maybe it's the type of reciever on your door?
Here's a thought - have you got a friend who would let you try programming it on their door to see if it works?

Mines an 03 Coupe as well - had it about a year and loving it

The first model year for the Crossfire was 2004. No 03's

Not actually correct - You can say that if you're talking about the US where they get a little ahead of themselves with model years but here in Australia we are more factual - here the year the car is built is the model year - in fact it would be illegal to describe a 2003 build as a 2004 model.
So if you look at the build date there's a good chance your "2004 model" is actually built in 2003.

Mine was built in 2003 but the vin number tells you the model year of the car. Not when it was built.

We're in the Australia sub forum so we get to play by our rules
In this country you're driving a 2003
Dont worry the rules are the same for everyone...and the dealers here are still selling 2009 build cars
We're way off topic but what time of the year do the US dealers start selling "2011" model cars?

Many years ago the new models came out in Oct. Now some of them come out near the beginning of the previous year. some 2011 are out now. That is crazy.

The best solution for this is to install a Flash2Pass opener. Flash your brights and your garage door opens.

Home - F2P Technologies

I have this on my bike. Works great.

Sorry - I sold mine about 6 months ago - don;t suppose you bought it? - Red with around 60,000km's on it - and in very good condition

Whats your Crossfire?

I never had an issue with setting my garage door opener up - had it working on both my doors (left and right) - but I know another guy who couldn't get it working either. It was easy to set up by following the instructions in the manual

Hope the show next weekend goes well - some of the other guys who follow the forums might venture down

Mine was a roadster - I was very happy with it and they're a great package for the price - it was just time for a change for me, moved to a Merc C200 Kompressor

The buttons should be behind the rear vision mirror, (3 of them) if not then thats new to me. My roadster has it and I havent seen any without it.
If you do find it, good luck in programming it, I have owned my roadster for 5 1/2 years and I have given up.
