Dave,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll be calling to get this done while the cost is so low. Sounds like I'll have to get in line behind several other Crossfires and a couple of babies.

Hey guys thanks for the quick reply! Sean (Cydetrack) tells me he has already purchased the tune and you're shipping the cable to him as we speak. We're both in Canada and have a thread going on the forum for a GTG at my place for any who buy the tune and want to join us. It'll be on a Saturday is that OK with you? I know the special is for March, how soon do we need to do the tune after we buy? Most of us up north won't have our cars on the road again for a month or two, just don't want to miss out. I appreciate this is a good deal for a tune but, if we use Sean's cable, will there be a further price reduction? I know I'll get asked so best if I have the info up front.

Thanks, Steve Collins

Both were very quick to reply to my first e-mail, not sure what's up? All of the Vendors I've purchased from (check my sig.) through this forum have always been quick to respond. Anyone else wanna try?
Still no response from Eurocharged. I recognize they may have a lot on their plate right now, however not an excuse. Clearly an e-mail response would only take a minute and I could then post rather than paraphrasing a telephone conversation. Leads me to wonder what level of response I would get from them if I had issues with a tune, however that's for another discussion.

I talked to Jerry on Friday, he thinks he talked with you. They apparently lost you e-mail or something. PM me your info and I will get it to them. I know they would not do this on purpose, they are just not like that. Send info by PM.

I live in Europe and we use minimum unleaded 95 - 98 octane gas. Can the tune be tweaked for our markets?

From an earlier post I made.
Europe is using the RON rating, US and Canada use the AKI rating.

RON rating times .95 = AKI
95 (RON) x .95 = 90 AKI = Regular gas.
98 (RON) x .95 = 93 AKI = Premium gas.

So your octane ratings are basically the same as ours this side of the pond.

I received a several responses from Jerry this morning, sorry for the long post:

I'll discount everyone $20 more if wr reach 5 at the same time.

Take as much time as you need. I'm very easy to work with.

Any day in April will work. I'll clear my schedule.

Also received the following message from Jerry this morning:

FYI - there is no further price reduction. Everyone will receive a
cable, regardless if they use it or not.

I'll be out of the office all week (new baby), so please call us if
you need something. I will have limited access to email.

So to summerize:

Everyone will get a Cable with the tune special.
If we have 5 or more at the GTG, then there is a $20 discount.
Jerry will make himself available any day in April.

Looks like an excellent opportunity. Just need to set a date and buy , I'd like to suggest the 30th. The 23rd is Easter Saturday which may be a conflict for some. In order to take advantage of the $20 discount, please post here, prior to purchasing so I may advise Jerry ahead of time.

If you are in, shoot me a pm and I'll start a list

Spoke to Jerry yesterday. He is on "maternity leave" & was still waiting for the baby. Clint is our contact for now. Jerry said mileage would improve by 1 to 2 mpg & that the car would be more fun to drive. I think the tune removes the speed limiter too. He outlined the other changes in his post offering the tune. Will be signing up soon thru Eurocharged .

bluecoupe;
Looks like you got answered by Jerry and you guys are all set. I know you guys will all see increases in performance. Jerry initially did a flash tune on my car and it made a big difference. I then had a full Dyno Tune, which made more diffenence. Have since added K&N filters, which made a good bit of change as well. Going for 74mmTB now, hope to install soon.
Good luck on your tune, it will be great!

it is a lot different. Sorry I can't come up that way...but, that isn't a bad idea if I can't get to a dyno tune soon. I thought they were coming to Indy to do dyno tunes, but haven't heard anything for awhile. Doesn't matter, weather is now starting to shape up enough to get back into the garage. Good luck and I will await the results. Mimi is tearing up the tracks with his tune...hope to have similar results soon....

Thanks.........a dyno tune would be ideal, just can't get any vendor interest in putting one together locally.

You guys are determined to have me paint into the corners of my marriage! On the up side of this upgrade, I'll be able to get away more quickly when I'm asked where all the money has gone! Between the NAV and the QT top upgrade - now this -, I'm afraid to see Beaner's car for fear someone convinces me that a V8 is a viable thing for me too!

Agghh!!! I'm in!!

I wonder how I'm going to pay for the Fleetwood Cruize-in. I've gotta see Lighthouse and that is another few hundred. Ah... it's only money!

So I can spend $60 in gas to get to Grimsby....to save $20 on the group tune. BUT it's a great excuse for a GTG. OK I'm in!!!!
