Not sure if everyone has seen this or not. Sad thing.

Re: Accident kills 6 - Cars for Kids
I know these type events go on all over all the time and no one gets hurt, but we all know this is dangerous stuff and should be managed carefully. Burnouts? should never happen with out some barrier (that can stop a car at full throttle), i'll bet that wasn't the case...or at least there were people in places where they shouldn't have been.
To this point. if anyone watched the Canadian GP week before last, would have seen a BMW Sauber go off the track at about 180 mph and heading for the back of grandstand. The wall and fence held all the parts and the kept everyone on the other side safe.
Yah, cars are fun, but you shouldn't encourage stupid unsafe behavior...this type of thing eventually happens and we all feel "sad" about it. Too late.

Re: Accident kills 6 - Cars for Kids
There's video of it out there on the net (I'm not going to post it on here).
Basically it's a pro drag car doing a burnout down a 2 lane city street. There's guardrail for a little bit, but nothing after. People were lined both sides of the street for a good ways.
It was not good. Looks like they didn't take safety into consideration at all (at least on that part).
