I spoke with Doc last night and will be in contact with him again tonight for the up to the minute details about his mom and his plans.
Gary,
Was just doing some thinking (don't worry I didn't hurt myself). Is there going to be some sort of signage for the Raffle at Carlisle? I think it would be good if we could have something there for any other (non-crossfire) owners who are there to read information about the raffle. This may spark some interest in the raffle and help sell the reminaing tickets so we can get this thing raffled off quicker and maybe bring a new member to the .org/CICCI family. Just a thought since there will be so many Chrysler enthusiasts there.

Just came home from Carlisle after helping a friend set up his booth in the flea market. There are lots of great cars coming in the gates. No Crossfires when I left but lots of cuda's and challengers etc. If you can even attend this show on Saturday just to see the cars it will be worth it. And take time to visit the flea market. It isn't just old parts. It is full of great old cars that aren't going to be on the show field. Most of them are for sale but they are all a part of Chrysler's history, and some are just as nice as the show cars.
Okay well it's Thursday afternoon and any chance of me getting my car set and ready for the Carlisle show revolved around whether or not I recieved some important paperwork in the mail.
And just my luck...
NOTHING came.
So at this time I'm forced to give up all hopes of coming this weekend. I do hope to eventually get out there next year, but at this time it's just not in my cards. Hope everybody gets there safe and sound and has a great time. Once again thanks for the support and options given to me for the weekend. I do still wish to meet you all at future shows so drive safely and I'll see you then.
P.S. oledoc2u I hope everything works out for you and your mother has a speedy recovery.

It would have been great to have a poster of the car to display.
If anyone sees this and can print a few pics of the car and still bring them that would be great.
I'm currently in Streetsboro, Ohio and only 4 hours from Carlisle now so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Funny it's said that everything happens for a reason whether we know it or not.
Just be with your mom and our thoughts will be with you both.
Besides you know I will take a ton of pictures and post them when I get home...LOL
Take care my friend, Gary
Anthony/Gary,
Just wanted to let you know I don't think I will be making it to Snapper's tonight, but will be in at the hotel for drinks.

Another great day at Carlisle. We had 41 Crossfires show up of all models and colors.
Great meeting everyone, and generally a great time and great reception by everyone who stopped by to check out this crazy little toy we all love.
I'm sure everyone will be posting up photos in the next couple days as they return home...
...if you haven't ever been to Carlisle before I would strongly suggest going next year. It is an impressive showing of all makes and models of Chrysler. If I had to guess I would say there were almost 2,000 cars on display today. Old, new, stock, modified, and pretty much anything and everything you could think of was represented...

The day started off with rain very early but by the time we left the hotel the rain had stopped and the roads were nearly dry.
We arrived at the fairgrounds around 9:30 and lined up all the Crossfires and began the detailing process again.
I believe we had 43 Crossfires present.
There were many who walked by and stopped to really look at all our Crossfires.
Grace and Carmella tended to the CICCI store and sales were pretty good on CICCI merchandise.
Adam's polishes was present out at the show as well and several including my self purchased products with the 15% show discount that they had available.
The day remained free of rain although it remained cloudy until about 3:00 when the sun came out and it started heating things up.
Until then it was comfortable and breezy and was a really decent day for the show.
We arrived back at the hotel around 5pm and some of us went in the pool.
Lots of fun and kidding around while trying to play volleyball with a beachball and no net.
We are not very good at this as we quickly found out...lol
I officially called it the "Crossfire Special Olympics"
Dinner began at 7pm and the food was terrific..(Thanks Tony).
After dinner awards were presented and Patpur did an outstanding job recapping how CICCI began and where we are today.
We also signed up a few new members to the club
We raised $1200.00 with the silent auction and cash donations for this years charity "CHILDRENS CANCER RECOVERY FOUNDATION", HARRISBURG, PA.
We had two representatives present at dinner to accept the check for the foundation.
This was a very good turnout for CICCI here at Carlisle and I want to thank everyone involved with the planning as well as everyone who took the time to come out and be a part of this fantastic event
Thank You so much and we hope to see you come back next year

We missed you, Doc. We hope Mom is doing better. FP was missed as well as several other old stand-bys (no emphasis on old
). But it was great to meet all the new faces - Adam, Demetrius, Stephanie, Howard, and many more. And of course, it is always great to hang with the regulars (even if they go to bed early). As they say, we came because of the cars, we come back because of the people.
My hat is off to all those who planned and executed this year's event. It was an absolute success in my opinion. I have no complaints - which is really odd because I'm good at complaining. I can't wait to do it again next time. Big thanks to the CICCI crew for all their hard work. The charity drive adds a new dimension to our get-togethers, which I'm sure we'll continue. We may want to expand on the Crossfire (special) Olympics for next year. We could involve it in the charity drive somehow.
Special thanks to Gary for letting me room with him at the last minute. I appreciate it!
I just got home. It was a great drive on a beautiful day, and best of all: no speeding tickets all weekend. Woohoo!
Great weekend. Great friends. Great cars. Who could ask for anything more?

Half way back.....stopped in NC for one last night with family before heading back to FL. This was, by far, the best Carlisle event so far. Everything went smoothly, the food was excellent, and old & new friends got to spend quality time together.
