Hey folks. Not too much interest in the car at this price on the forum. I'm considering taking it over to a dealer this weekend and parting ways. Any comments about price expectations or other strategies much appreciated. I'd love to see it in good hands--given the mileage, this one deserves a good home until it is a classic.

 

Before you give it away to a dealer. You should post the dealers quote and give the forum members a chance to do $500 better. My guess is their going to offer you $8,500 for your trade.

 

When I took mine to Carmax last month, they offered me $7,000. They said there is no market for sports cars in the Chicago area! HA wtf?!? Yet they had two on the showroom floor....

 

I bought my 2005 one-owner base coupe with 10,000 miles on it last month. I paid $10,100. It was "clean". Needed the headlights polished, the headliner replaced, and the cigarette lighter fixed. It had had Mercedes leather seats installed.

I love the way they look. They are manual, not powered.

I have been struggling with fit. I had an upholsterer add lumbar padding and it helped some but I need some more. I have never ridden in a base with the original cloth seats.

Would like it if they were lower in the back part of the seat and higher in front.

I drove my friend's Limited several months ago and needed more lumbar in it too.
