Just listed . . . 2005 black SRT6 roadster with only 5000 miles on the clock (must have spent most of it's time frozen up in Wisconsin!). They are asking $27,900.00! I kind of hope they get their asking price because that might help the value of our Crossfires!

If we who own these extraordinary cars do not value them highly, then no one will. If we nay say those who lead the market higher it can only go down.
You would think at that price they at least would have not used a generic picture of a base model though.

And was originally sold in Indiana, so no free top replacement for it.

It has been written on this forum that cars with an Indianapolis connection command a premium. I do not know if that extends to the whole state of Indiana nor if that would compensate for the lack of being included in the recall.

It seems your tongue is as firmly planted in your cheek as mine .....

Yes that's true, SRT-6's from Indiana command a premium. Mine has 5,680 on the clock and I'd probably take $27,990 for it with all the OEM parts .

Hey, why not. It worked for the Shelby Mustang owners.
Re: NOT MINE - Black SRT6 roadster with only 5K miles . . . Asking $27,990!
Not sure about the Indiana connection but I think this car is priced right. I recently turned down a cash offer of 25k for my Graphic SRT6 with 8,800 miles. The problem on selling these cars, IMO is that few people are looking for them and most have no idea what they are. If you list it on Craig's list and expect everyone is seeing it when no one is searching for a Crossfire, you will be disappointed. Some will think their price is too high and start dropping it. When you are not trying to sell, but just being excited about the car and find someone else is interested in getting one, most will likely tell them they can pick one up super cheap and point to these ads of frustrated sellers who for one reason or not, need to sell. I think they will slowly get into the hands of people who appreciate them, especially the SRT's and when that happens, the price will stabilize and start climbing, if that hasn't started happening already. Sadly, Chrysler never did their job on selling this car which has made opportunities for some great buys but also hinders the resale market.
Just my opinion.

The mileage on some of your cars blows my mind! I applaud you guys for maintaining such low mileage.......I don't know how in the world you do it. Even with my SRT-6 being a second car (my daily is a super faded '97 Civic HX coupe with 202k on it.......still gets a gazillion MPG though!) and I work from home most of the time I still managed to put about 10k on my Crossfire since I bought it back in March '14 with 42k on it. I enjoy driving it on sunny days too much to let it sit and rot in my garage. I do travel a bit for car meets/shows/events throughout the summer which is where the majority of my miles come from. But wow.....sub-10k mileage cars that are 10 years old......bravo!
Re: NOT MINE - Black SRT6 roadster with only 5K miles . . . Asking $27,990!
If we had more summer here, mine would have a lot more miles on it (-18 degrees here three days ago).
Re: NOT MINE - Black SRT6 roadster with only 5K miles . . . Asking $27,990!
That's true, I didn't really take that into consideration for northern car owners. I'm in VA....it's relatively nice here 75% of the time. We get some snow here and there and my Crossfire doesn't move during those times. It's been in the garage and hasn't moved in about 2 weeks.

Did anyone look up the VIN on this car? 1C3AN75N85X055141 Was the past owner from MN? This dealer also has an aero SRT6 convt. with less than 8k miles. I took it for a ride but would not pay $23k or whatever their high asking price was this fall. They had a few used Vipers and SRT Challengers sitting next to it with high price tags too, sweet showroom to look at though.
