The OEM GPS is about 9 years out of date with no updates available, I do not care as I wanted the car to have that option anyway, it gets you there, it is a bit antiquated but as long as the road was there in 2003 you are fine. I use a Garmin or a Magellan.
I will attach info on the install and a thread on the installation. I hope this all helps.

Any help removing the stock gps antenna? I tried going through the center stack, but seems the stock location is above the steering column deep in the dash.
