Default Second race of 2015 with a PAX win

Crossfire won the PAX (handicap) for our club for the first time yesterday. I'm usually in the top 10, but this was my first victory. The car felt good and was consistent with only .55 seconds between four runs (.15 between the three fastest runs). I came in 4th overall in raw time, first in my class, and beat a lot of cars in higher classes.

Changes this year are new 245 A7s up front and 295 A6s in the rear, with Koni's and the 30mm H&R front bar. Interestingly, I'm running 40+PSI up front with the A7s, and down about 25 in the rear. I tried running lower pressures up front, but the A7s like more pressure. They really come up to temp quick, so I need to use water to keep them in the sweet spot. Had to run really low pressures in the rear because there is almost 2" more of rubber on each side so they just don't get very hot.

Not bad for a car that doesn't have rack & pinion, and an engine that "provides sporty--if not quite pure sports-car--urge and enthusiasm" according to (Motor Trend's Dec. 2003 issue).
I love it when the proverbial "underdog" kicks sand in the faster cars CAI's.
I think I speak for many (NA) Crossfire owners, when I say we all share in your victories, (vicariously of course).
Thanks so much.
