Default My Crossfire Project(s?)

Hello from my home of way too many projects. I recently bought a collision damaged '05 roadster and a 'clean titled' '05 roadster without an engine. The whole thing started quite by accident when a un-serious $550 bid at a COPART auction turned out to be the high bid. My purchase of the cars evolved in this thread on another forum: Thoughts on reserve: 2005 Crossfire at COPART and my introduction to the Crossfire forum is here: New in Oklahoma .
My plan is to take the presumed good engine from the salvage car and install it in the engineless car. A simple plan ...right?
Hope: The engine is in good condition and the rest of the parts (excluding maintenance items) are present somewhere between the two cars. That the seller of the 'body donor' car follows through with sending me the title - At the moment I'm awaiting titles on both cars.

It's been a while since I posted on an 'Internet Brands' Forum. Let's see if I can embed a YouTube video of the salvage car's arrival....
Here's the link:

Next, after pulling the core support out of the way I replaced the idler pulley, belt tensioner, and serpentine belt. I had not made any repairs to the cooling system except for some metal tape to slow the leakage and poured some distilled water in. A short run showed that the engine seems to run well, but the harmonic balancer has a little bit of a wobble. At over 20 years of use I'll call that wear rather than damage. I've got a new one ordered that should arrive in about a week.

Harmonic Balance Wobble
I used an engine from a wreck for my clone project. Engine was out of a wreck from Florida with 12,000 miles

vehicle had front end collision, looked like yours.
I stripped it down. All looked good
changed chains and bearings.

put it all back together and fired it up.
looked down at the crank pulley and saw the wobble
the crank was bent at the nose as a result of the front push.

this was in 2017 I couldn’t fine a crank shaft anywhere after a month of looking, I found one from jimmy Connelly in Texas. I flew down and picked it up.

Fingers crossed that it’s isolated to the pulley.

Wow, that must have been frustrating after putting a low mileage engine in to have to take it back out for a new crankshaft. Looking over the damage to mine, I don't think that the car was even being driven when the damage occurred. My guess is that a pickup truck backed up into it just above the bumper bar. Watching it run, it appears that the inner crank pulley is smooth on the axis and the outer part of the pulley is where it wobbles. Hoping for the best and waiting for confirmation that the title is on the way for the body-donor before I start moving the engine.
