hankook
Front: $280 each
Back: $370 each
Big total: $1,322 + taxes = $1,520.63, Canadian dollars...ouch!
So far the ride is smoother than the conti and takes corners better (in my humble opinion) its dry today.
I'll keep you posted on this after a longer try and on wet pavement.

Thanks for the thread. I am nearing tyre replacement time and considering the Hankooks, which have just been released here in the past few weeks. Prices quoted are $286.00 225/40/18 and $344.00 255/35/19. This compares with $793.00 for Conti replacements for the 255/35/19's. ($1.00 Au buy $0.74 US at present). Please update the thread in a few weeks when you have a few more km's.

i'm curious how the tires fair with some mileage. most of the "less expensive" tires start off great and get quite noising after some mileage. please do keep use posted.
Thats actually pretty good mileage out of a set of perf tires, so just tell her that.
If I were going to replace the tires on the Crossfire I'd go with BFG KDW 2's or the g-force sports.

I just got BF Goodrich KDW's from Discount Tire, $1,100 out the door with road hazard replacement. My Pilots looked good with 18,000 but both rears had bubbles on the sidewall.
My car has 28km on the original Continental Sport Contact 2 tyres. I estimate 2-3 km more from the fronts but the rears still have around 40% tread remaining. I have no complaints with the Conti's but I don't think they are worth the cost here in Au.
I have had Hankook tyres on other vehicles in the past and was reasonably satisfied with them. These new 107's look the goods and the blurb reads OK. Silica compounded etc. Price is good. It comes down to how others find them in use.
I will replace front and rear together. Just something I always do.
There are a number of other options available for the fronts 225/40/18 but rears 255/35/19 are more difficult. e.g. Cannot source Goodyear or Dunlop.
