WOW! I had not seen those. All the newbs who come here looking for info on the Crossfire need to be directed to these videos! As a matter of fact - DC should direct all potential buyers there. For about 25K new - people would eat these things up.

In your face, Solstice! (Sorry - couldn't resist.)

Yep, those are some pretty cool videos. That's why I had to put them on my site. One of these days I'll work on prettying up my Crossfire site. I need to find more cross comparison data to put there too.

Thank you for having those videos, mj. Just awesome. They have re-affirmed my love for this car.

And thank you chourse, for directing us to them.

restored2x: Actually these videos are on the Chrysler site. You can see them as part of the Flash image in the Crossfire Features section. You can see them here and through the other links on the left. Just click the little square of film in the lower right under the main image.

I suppose if the Forum allows it someone could post the links to the WVX files somewhere in the Gallery. It might be best to cite the Speed Channel for copyright.

Thanks! I had no idea.

I need to do a search here and research threads on why this car hasn't sold well - it absolutely baffles me.

it comes down to numbers... hp... price.. price is down to where it should be for the hp you get with the non srt models now (about 22k)... but in reality the car does not match the quality of a 22k car, it is far higher a quality than that... so the easiest way to go about this is to raise the hp some and sell it at a proper price point, 28k..

as the old saying goes... horsepower is what sells the car but torque is what moves it... thats why it is not selling but it runs times comparable to higher hp cars...

porsche just announced their new 240ish hp 270ish tq cayman with 5 speed manual... for 50k you can handle like a crossfire and accelerate 0-69 .4 seconds faster than a non srt model... hmmm WHAT ? .4 seconds for 25 hp and 40 tq more... eek
