Thumping sound

I hear an pronounced thump when I let out the clutch in 1st or REV.
It's in those to gears and only from a stand still.

Car is an '05 w/ less then 500 miles.
I must not have noticed at first in my new car excitement.

Any thoughts?

i am having the same issue - just stared recently - several posts seem to discuss with no solutions - evidently MB 320slk has had a tsb on the issue - a fuel valve located near gas tank.
