(jumps on same wagon as others)...

I leave it in Auto Mode, unless I am driving slowly through a park I am playing disc golf at and then I put it up so others can see my disc golf graphics I have under the wing.

Mine is always in the automatic mode so it deploys on its own.

It's down until I get to a freeway or fast highway. Then I usually wait for somebody to pull up behind me before I deploy it. Seeing the reaction(s) from the people behind me make me happy in the pants. Sometimes I roll with it half-cocked when I'm driving on the coast.

This makes no sense unless your wing is not working. Once on the freeway you are generally going at a speed that would auto deploy the wing and you can't close it at that speed (if it's working right).

Always on auto, more fun to watch it operate than stay in the up position.

Generally on auto, but I, too, play when I want to be more noticeable. I still find people more amazed at the hiding top than impressed with the wing... but that's probably because I can see their expressions when I drop the top...that and I notice that pedestrian traffic comes to a halt around me when the top is deploying.
Gotta love the excitement the Crossfire continues to generate...and people still thing it's in the "out of my price" range.

my favorite thing to do is to come to a light with it down. put the top down, then the wing up.
it seems that there are intervals you can stop the wing at (until you hit 62 mph). you hit the up button, then the down button to stop it at a point. so mine is most of the time in the middle, different from the rest!

Let me rephrase that, it's down until I get to a Freeway. Then before The onramp I deploy it while waiting for the light to turn green. K?
