wow i guess i am the bad guy.. 145 mph on route 80 during the day time... cars on the road..

I have driven formula1 on the track at much higher speeds, but on the track there really is a lack of sense of danger so it is MUCH less fun.. driving half that speed on a public highway is a much greater adrenaline rush...

I think around 130-ish.

This car is awsome, I always drive over 100 but doesn't feel like going that fast at all. Even driving on local street, a few times I was speeding up and I can't believe my eye that I'm going 80 already.

I've done things I would never do in the other cars.
I've just now gotten used to the weight. I've been pulled over and warned 5 times now as of this weekend.
I'm going to park it for awhile.

This will sound pathetic, but I've only gone up to 115... I'm too cautious of a person and am surprised I got up to that speed.

Did you recently gain a few pounds or go on the weight watchers diet?

Well if 115 is pathetic then my top speed of 107 is downright disgusting. I'm such a speed virgin.

Cruised across NC on 85 doing 90 at night - headlights coming up from behind, slow down Crap - it was a 911 - enough of this- hit 135 to catch him. I stayed with him for about 30 miles or 15 minutes before sanity took over flashed my lights waved off and went back to 90

On a nice straight 3 mile stretch road at 6:00 am on a Sunday morning and no traffic = 186 MPH. It was still pulling hard at 5,800 RPM when I let off and it was steady as a rock.

I'd tell the guy with the ticket pad he needed to get his radar gun checked, I only have a 195 cubic inch 6 cylinder in this thing .

my wife would tell you I gained a few pounds- but as for this post, I'm about 6 cylinders lighter than what I am used to.... A boulder with rockets is very different driving than a pebble with rockets- but I am getting used to the pebble.

I doubt you would have gotten a ticket lol at least on the side of the road, they usually arrest you. Doubling the speed limit isnt as bad but if you almost triple it lol Then you get the book thrown at you, reckless driving, vehicular manslaughter, Intent to harm, speeding, Not to mention probably loose your license for awhile.

Not to long ago there was an RSV aprilla or an RC51 modified, I can't remember that was clocked at 205 from a plane best part His dad is a state trooper. I think they dynoed the bike and could only get it to go somewhere in the 190s...

WOW, 205 on 2 wheels. He's crazier than me . I've had my Soft Tail Deuce up just over 100 a couple times, but then right back down to 60 or so. I do fast on two wheels, it scare's the crap outta me. The 186 in the SRT-6 didn't hardly feel much over 120 or so. Someone had asked me a while back how fast my car would go, when I told them I had it to 186 they said where did you find a long enough straight away to get up to that speed. I just smiled and said I only needed 2 to 3 mile's.

PS: getting ready to go to the track right now. Sunday against a bunch of Spec. Miata's is much more fun than the "Honey Do's".

Sorry to go OT, but do you tow your car with it that far forward on the trailer? You've got to have way too much tongue weight like that.
