Default Hesitates

I need someone to help me. Once in a while when I stop, I start off and the Xfire hesitates. The RPM's drop.
Some one at work said it maybe water in gas and to use something called HEAT.
Anyone else know what the problem could be??
Another thing it does not do it all the time.

Default Re: Hesitates

The gas may be the culprit. Two years ago I had the same problem when I stopped, the car would run rough and then hesitate when I took off. We couldn't get it into the dealer before we left on a vacation and by the time we got back home, 3K miles later and a few tanks of gas, the problem was gone. Since the problem has never came back I assuming it was some bad gas that was reeking havoc with the sensors. Run your current tank down to below 1/8 then gas up with premium from Chevron or Exxon for a couple of tanks, their gas is usually pretty good quality. You could also take the car to an Auto Zone or other Parts place and they can scan the ODBIII and see if the computer is showing any codes. If it isn't resolved within a couple tanks get it into the dealer.
