Shift Knob
I've been looking around for a shift **** for my auto-stick. The XF does not have a push button to shift from Parking. My question is than, should I be able to buy a **** that's made for a stick? Has anyone done this? Here's one of the ***** I'm looking at.

I believe you are correct...I think the bottom part of the shift **** unscrews and then there should be a set screw holding the **** on. I could be wrong, but any manual shift **** with the same inner diameter should work. That MOMO **** looks nice.
FPMartinez,
To change the **** on the autostick (not sure if it is the same on the manual) unscrew the ring on the bottom of the ****, let is slide down on the shaft an pull the **** off (straight up). The problem with most aftermarket ***** is that they do not let the shaft penetrate far enough. As a result the replacement sits about two inches higher (totally unacceptable).
You might want to do an eBay search for replacement ***** for an SLK. I got one for my SRT that is Walnut and black with an AMG plate but there are many others.
