I looked up Orlando Dodge the other day to see what they had for Crossfires, they just added Chyrsler, since they sponsor the Orlando Speedway that we are having our GTG at in two week and they had two '06's listed. They were new, not lease turn ins, with only a few miles for about $40-41,000 each. The vin's also showed that they were indeed '06's. When we get to the track, they are suppose to have them on display as new ones to go with all of our used Crossfires. It's going to be a great GTG!!

For what its worth, this weekend I noticed (2) Crossfires sitting on the Chrysler dealers lot in DeLand, Fl. Stopped to check them out and found "2006 Crossfire Limited Coupe, ser #67990", along with a new "2006 Crossfire Conv LTD, ser #61904". Both have 2006 on the MSRP data.

Bought My '06 Three weeks ago from Wullenweber in Western Cincinnati.
Base model coupe six-speed for less than 20 grand !
They have another base coupe, a red and a yellow roadster in stock now w/ heavy discounts. I'm lovin' mine and spreading the word. Gonna go quick !!!
I like this dealer. We've bought three Jeeps there and always got great service from 'em.

p.s. I'll post my VIN later this afternoon after I get a chance to get out to the garage.

What's the highest known verifiable current VIN number ?

If the way Daimler is handling the Crossfire is any indication of their management practices for all of Chrysler then it is no wonder that they are losing money.
I dropped my Dakota off at Treadway Chrysler last week for oil change and they had (4) Crossfire roadsters on the lot. All of them were listed as 2006.
I drove by Monday and noticed that there ate now 6 to 8 of them. I am beginning to think they are part rabbit. All of these are listed as 2006. I believe they were all roadsters.
What is going on???
The sticker on the metallic blue roadster was approx $41,000. But I went to their website and they had discounted pricing in the low $30k's.

Macman..I was at Treadways yesterday and noticed all the roadsters too. He has at least 6 new ones and one in the used car lot. They all sticker for at least $40,000 on up. What is going on there? Can he possibly think he is going to sell that many roadsters? Maybe he knows something we don't.
my dealer has "06" roadsters selling for 23k , coupe's 18.5k , he also has a metallic blue used "05" roadster selling for 18k !
just doesn't make any sense.
evidently chrysler has to unload them !
my question is will they hold there value (sticker value).

Because I have a yellow roadster I went to Treadway's web site to check the new yellow one. Although it was listed for around $40,000 they had a sell price of $32,999.
It appears that Daimler is "dumping" this line and attempting to recoup their investment.
Personally I think a new roadster for less than $35,000 is a great buy. I paid $26,900 for my "05" last fall. I just hate to see 6 or 7 more Crossfires running around the area (Findlay Ohio ... population ...45,000).
Aside, kmag52.. we should get together some time & cruise.
