Default Looking at an '05 6 spd Limited

For a DD. Found a black 38 mile '05 Coupe at a local dealership and thinking about picking it up for a DD. Have a few questions first.

How good is the 6 spd?
How fun are they to drive?
Impressions of the car? What do you like? Dislike?

Thanks guys. Only asking 21K for it and it's never been titled. Must have been sitting in the showroom a LONG time.

I've never enjoyed driving more, in a life blessed with fun cars.
This German six-speed deal is the NUTS!
It doesn't snick with the feather touch of a Miata, but rather takes a firm, positive hand to place it in gear. Medium-heavy (but very forgiving) clutch, then a late-action throttle, as I haven't gone the sprint boost*route. Not a tire burner, since it's got five or nine computers forcing the components to behave themselves. Torquey, with a cool exhaust note at 4 grand.
The car is easy to drive well on day one, and it rewards the thoughtful driver with nuances of improvement over time.

A 9 out of ten , but superb in so many ways. There's nothing like it out there. And certainly nothing approaching its quality for $21k.

*The Sprint Boost is a gadget which, when installed, makes the gas pedal very touchy. Search threads on this forum for more info.

Well keep looking. You should be able to get one in the mid 20's. Hook up with someone else who is looking for one and tell the dealer that 2 of you will buy it together at xx price, if not you have another dealer selling it to you for the same.

Cool Re: Looking at an '05 6 spd Limited

There are a few SRT6's reasonably priced on Ebay, may be worth the trip.

As much as I want the SRT6. My price limit is 20K and I'm even going over it for the limited. I'm looking for something fun and sporty with a 6 spd and though I would love the supercharged v6 I can live without it for now.

Thanks again guys.

Check out our classified section, .ie. my own ride for instance and if not mine, other who are here. I've found this forum to be full of people who really like their cars, even if they want to sell them. PM for any details you may need, thanks.
