Default Racing Graphics Competition

I thought I would start a competition / contest to design the paint / graphics scheme for my racing crossfire for the 2007 season. The winning designer will get his/her name painted on the car and a small gift (TBD) from me.

The few rules are that I must have the #431 on both doors, hood, front rear bumper, as well as class markings on both sides, front and rear. The color scheme of my team driving suit / helmet are black, red, silver, white. I would like to keep that color scheme working on the car as well. Be creative, I'm not adverse to any design, just don't make it too complicated that the paint job costs me an arm and a leg.

I have a paint shop that does custom work on race cars here in Southern California that will do the work at the end of the spring. Here is a photo of the car stock.

And here is a photo of how I ran the car last year.

I look forward to seeing your submissions.

I needed a break from being out in the cold and damp welding up my VW so came in and had a crack at some graphics. I have a few more ideas but here's one to get things started - kind of Hollywood with a hint of Mopar:

Now that's a classy rendering! Well done Woody. It seems to meet all of the required criteria, so HDDP should consider declaring the contest over right now.

Woody: Good idea, I hadn't considered using some aspect of my business in the graphics. Now it's a write-off on my taxes... LOL.
