Default Love the MPG

I just checked the MPG from my last fill up and some highway driving with some non-conservative and conservative city driving I got around 26 mpg.

I never really realized how great mileage I get out of this car. It's almost as close as my Honda Accord.

What kind of numbers are you all seeing.

BTW, I'm using 93 octane.

I routinely see 26-28 mpg. My all-time best was 30.8 mpg on a road trip to the Delmarva Peninsula (MD/VA Eastern shore).

Talking Re: Love the MPG

Same... I average 26.34 mpg city. I am not totally heavy footed... so it is a fair estimate.

I'm pleased with the mileage.

Whew, Romio, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I just whipped out the calculator and figured mine up and it was just a tad over 21. I drive like a jackas* though.

22 mpg but very short runs so the engine quite often doesn't even get up to operating temp.

Put some under-drive pulleys on.
Your mpg will rise a fraction.
(Besides the obvious 'power' increase).

My highway is always 30 to 32 (well except a few over 130 mph runs) but in town well that depends mostly on my mood. When the weather is nice and I have the top down I tend to use a little more fuel than normal so I guess it would be... cold bad weather in town is 26 to 28 and sunny warm weather 22
to 25, fun fun.

I average around 22.0 but that is mostly town driving. When I have gotten some highway time it usually averages around 27 or so....not bad at all.

My SRT6 gives about 21 on the hwy. Not too bad for a 330 hp supercharged car.

I regularly do 70-80 mph on the highway with the occassional >100 runs for the punks in their rice burners or the stiff in their Bimmer, but the key is using cruise control. I pull regularly around 340-360 miles to the tank. So, 24 mpg with a heavy foot really isn't that bad at all. Plus, keeping up with the scheduled maintenance helps too. No aftermarket mods (yet) on the performance side, but I'm working on it. I haven't been in town long enough to get any joy in doing so yet.
