OK, Andrew is right. These belonged to a base model, and the owner had them embroidered.

Sorry I just didn't want 10 replies of "they're headrests".
I didn't know the base model had adjustable headrests. I actually think they look good. I wish my leather seats were embroidered like this. Maybe with Blue instead of white though.

Oh, don't listen to these guys... They are the headrests for the back seats of the 4 door version of the car... It comes with an optional flux capacitor...

What's always amazed me is that Delorean Motor Company gives away the Flux Capacitors (Search for flux capacitor at http://www.delorean.com/ ) but on a Chrysler Crossfire it's an option that is not readily available. Too bad DM doesn't advertise it more.
I'm the guilty one - those are mine.
They are from a base and look good on the car. It spices up the base model alittle bit, I think. You can see them through the windshield. I had to remove the fabric to have them done. No Leather on the Base.
I like to call them head bumpers, not headrests.
