Curb Rash...
Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing a curb rash on the wheel?
I found this company online, but I would like to get some other feedback as well...

Thanks!

What you have to do is: sand blast off the paint around the area if not the entire front face of the wheel if you want a perfect match. Then take it to your local machine shop, They will lay down a bead of aluminum filling in the damaged area, then they chuck it up in the lathe and clean up the edge. After that take the wheel to your local paint shop and have it re powder coated.
For all that time and effort it's cheaper to use the damaged wheel as a spare or snow tire, and then just buy a new wheel.
You could try fixing the rash with JB weld, then sand it into shape and touch up with some paint.

I had 3 or 4 small rashes in the edges of the rims and found that the factory touch-up paint did wonders to conceal them. If you do a search, you'll be able to find the part number.
When I worked at our local BMW dealership, we had an outside company come in at least twice a week to fix curb rash on a number of our cars. I'm not sure how they did it, but a wheel that looked almost destroyed to me would come back to us in an hour looking brand new. It was one of those mobile companies that would come to our lot. I can't remember the name and am not sure if they are national or not, but I'm sure there is one in your area that repairs wheels. It would definitely be cheaper than replacing the wheel.
Here is a decent article... take a look... http://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext43.shtml
I've had bad luck with wheelsamerica.com but pretty good luck with: www.wheeltechnologies.com. Just remember its not going to look like it did from the factory but of course curb rash free and not very noticeable at all with a tire mounted.
