I want to install some lights, and want a very stock look for the switch. I have a '04 coupe. And was figuring, if I get the center console from a roadster, that has the button for the top down. And switch the button to a blank button that come in the SRT's where the wing button is on other cars, I could have the blank button mounted in my center console. So my question is. Does anyone know where I can get both? Oh and my interior is black.

 

Romio, I don't think the 'convertible top' button and the deployable wing button are the same size. I think the 'top' button is much smaller.

The convertible top button is the same size and shape as the power window buttons. However, the power window buttons and the convertible top buttons are flat whereas the buttons on the upper console such as the power wing button are curved to match the shape of the console.

 

ok. but i think even if the button is slightly rounded it still might fit. and gwetoe, the first link is a console from a coupe non SRT. so it doesn't have the right console with a half for the button, and it doesn't have a blank button, the button on there has the spoiler icon. well thanks for everyone's help, but with a little more thought. i think i an make a mount the replace the coin-holder, and have the hidden pretty good.

 

Why don't you replace the "airbag off" light? The place it's mounted on removes from the dash vary easily, and if you screw it up it will be a lot cheaper to replace.

 

because its hard to find a switch that looks good. but it really won't matter if i mount it on the coin holder. will probably get a micro switch.
