Default Finally Got My Xfire

Thats right after 2-3 months of research and browsing these forums i went to TN yesterday to buy my 2004 Blk Xfire for $16,000 I am very happy with the car, very. On the drive down to Florida an 05 Viper merged on the highway and we played around for a bit then a 2003 BMW Z4 tried to race me, and Toyota Matrix tried to race me and finally a Toyota Tundra...i was like WTF gas is expensive lol. But with the car it has the normal swirls in the paint and wear on the tires, what's weird is it didn't come with the original floormats and only came with one key. But just a few questions.

1. Have you ever pulled your shift **** out of the ...shift pole? (i was in 3rd going to 4th and the shift **** like came out...)

2. What RPM do you shift at, normal driving. I like to do 2-3 thousand.

3. Does anyone shift from 1st-2nd then to 4th then to 6th? To save gas.

- Thanks guys!

nope never had that happen... seems very solid to me as i have tried to pull it off.

right around there as well.

had a friend that swore this saved him gas, i made fun of him plenty for it as he would bog the engine every time he did this into a low rpm that was far from efficient... week later he started driving normal cause of my badgering and his gas mileage went up quite a bit...
you have enough gears to keep the car around the 2k range where it is most efficient for gas mileage, just make your shifts quick and precise...
