Default Question for topsider users.

Question: Is it a problem that the topsider holds 8 quarts of oil, but the engine holds 8.5 quarts?

thegoalie,

The Topsider holds the 8.5 quarts without a problem. Honestly, I didn't know it was only rated at 8 quarts. One bit of advice is remove the Tygon tubing and use only the Teflon tubing since it will withstand the temperature and not collapse.

the topsider i use, doesn't hold anything it goes from the tube, to the machine, then to an exit tube, which i dump to an oil drain pan...it was like $20, from the bass pro shop online...maybe buy one of them and don't worry.
