Default Pull this out?

Did you guys take these attachments out when you converted to the "ram air" intake?

I attempted the other day but taking just the grill off won't allow it to come out. You need to take the front bumper off it looks like. And there's at least 2 pins that hold the intake attachment in.

I removed mine a long time ago, it's not that hard, just pop the plastic push rivets, then jiggle it out.

Maxwell has it right...
You don't need to remove the bumper.
You may need to remove some screws to allow the bumper to flex though.
I removed a screw which stabilizes a cooling pie on the LH side of the car.
RH side is easy - RH side requires some swearing!

I got the outer push pin out, but the one near the headlight is too hard to get to.

Attack it from behind - inside/engine bay side.
If memory serves me correct, you have to push the center of the rivet towards the head (expanding rivet) - use a bent paper clip etc. for ease/tight areas to push the center.
It can be done - the RH side is the easiest.

Alright I'll try it again. Was there any noticeable increased air when taking them out? I'd imagine so.

I have no idea if this does anything, I just took them out because the where more restrictive than the actual ABS pipes that would connect to them. I bet it's just a waste of time, lol...
